Job Description
Ubisoft is seeking a Technical Art Director to lead the technical art vision and development of a AAA project. The successful candidate will have experience in Unreal Engine 5, solid technical skills, and excellent interpersonal abilities.
Requirements
- Solid experience as a Technical Art Director on AAA or AA productions
- Experience with Unreal Engine 5 (Nanite, Chaos, Landscape, Blueprint, Megalights, Insights)
- Strong understanding of realistic art workflows and production pipelines
- Experience in performance, optimization, pipelines, and replication challenges
- Proficient in 3D modeling software (Blender, 3DS Max, Substance Designer, Maya)
- Solid scripting skills (Maxscript, Python)
- Comfortable working with generative AI models (Claude, Copilot, ChatGPT)
