Ubisoft Annecy is seeking a World Designer to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and improving the terrain, working closely with various teams, and ensuring consistency between creative intentions, gameplay, and technical constraints.
Requirements
- Experience with a game engine (Unreal Engine, Unity, proprietary engine (Anvil) etc...)
- Global understanding of the workflow and artistic pipeline
- Mastery of Silex and Heightfield workflows
- Good knowledge of World Machine
- Solid understanding of gameplay mechanics
- Good knowledge of technical constraints related to the World
- Ability to analyze existing environments
- Strong autonomy in execution and organization of work
- Ability to integrate arbitration and align with final decisions
- Proactivity and spirit of initiative
- Systemic vision and global understanding of the stakes
