The Health Unit Coordinator (HUC) provides clerical support to the clinical team in carrying out patient care functions, including transcription of physician's orders, maintaining medical records, and communication with patients, staff, and physicians. The HUC is responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely completion of clerical activities related to patient admission, transfer, and discharge.
