Job Description
The Business Intelligence Specialist III provides advanced data and analytics support to UCLA Health, enabling data-driven decision-making across the health system. This role is responsible for designing, developing, and managing complex databases that support efficient workflows and comply with regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in statistics, mathematics, finance, business or a related field
- Advance skill in Python, Tableau, SQL, R, Excel, SPSS, and PowerPoint
- 2+ years of experience in Clinical Data Analytics, Statistics, and Quality Measures
- 3+ years of experience in advance analytical and quantitative skills
- Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills
- Project management skills
- Excellent understanding of the industry-specific issues, regulatory requirements, and current healthcare industry
- Must have the ability to work in a fast-paced and creative environment
- Ability to think “outside-the-box” and be creative to accomplish departmental goals
- Ability to prioritize work and remain detail oriented
- Ability to lead System wide complex projects
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
