CAD Designer

We are seeking a CAD Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience with SolidWorks and a strong understanding of production processing. The position is full-time, on-site in Chicopee, MA, and offers a competitive benefits package.

Requirements

• Associate degree in mechanical engineering, mechanical engineering technologies, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• 5+ years of experience in mechanical design
• Proficiency with SolidWorks
• Experience interpreting CAD and SolidWorks designs
• Ability to work well in a team environment and communicate effectively
• Good understanding of production processing
• Ability to create and understand product and tooling prints
• Ability to train less experienced CAD Designers to UFP design standards
• Ability to lead CAD team members on group and/or collaborative design efforts
• Ability to supervise CAD team members to best utilize resources to complete a design project promptly and efficiently
