Project Engineer

UFP Technologies is a designer and custom manufacturer of comprehensive solutions for medical devices, sterile packaging, and other highly engineered custom products. The Company’s single-use and single-patient devices and components are used in a wide range of medical devices and packaging for minimally invasive surgery, infection prevention, wound care, wearables, orthopedic soft goods, and orthopedic implants.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or technical field
• 5-8 years relevant product development experience in a manufacturing environment
• Experience with ERP system for quote, proposal submission and documentation
• Knowledge of plastics, foamed plastics, and textiles
• Sound knowledge of manufacturing methods, and processes used in foam and plastics converting
• Knowledge of molding equipment, techniques and tooling
• Proficiency in CAD software including SolidWorks and/or AutoCad
• Desired computer skills and software including: Microsoft Word, Excel and Project
