Job Description
We are seeking a Telecommunications Senior Project Engineer to lead the delivery of telecommunications systems for the Logan to Gold Coast Faster Rail project. The role involves overseeing the design and commissioning of telecoms infrastructure, managing interfaces with other rail disciplines, and ensuring technical excellence and safety compliance.
Requirements
- Degree qualification in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline
- Relevant Rail Industry Worker competencies
- Demonstrated experience delivering telecommunications systems on large-scale rail or infrastructure projects
- Strong knowledge of rail telecom systems (fibre, transmission, radio, CCTV, PA, passenger information systems)
- Experience working within complex, multidisciplinary project environments
- Solid understanding of relevant standards, regulations, and safety requirements (rail and infrastructure)
- Proven ability to manage contractors, consultants, and technical interfaces
