Job Description
UIC Bowhead Transport, LLC is seeking a Chief Engineer to perform preventive and corrective maintenance and repairs aboard our 200 GRT, 150ft Landing Craft, MV Unalaq. The successful candidate will have a strong background in engineering, with a minimum of 5 years of experience as an engineer aboard vessels. The position offers a rotating schedule and an impressive insurance plan with optional 401K benefits.
Requirements
- USCG Rated as Designated duty Engineer, 4000 HP with STCW-95
- 5+ years of experience as an engineer aboard vessels
- U.S. Citizenship and a current U.S. Passport
- Valid Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC)
- Valid Drivers' License
- Annual Merchant Mariners physical exam
