Electrical Project Manager

Uihlein Electric is seeking an Electrical Project Manager to oversee projects from start to finish, ensuring quality and timely completion. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience, 8 years of experience in a commercial/industrial electrical contractor, and proficiency in various computerized estimating systems.

Requirements

• Degree in Electrical Engineering/Construction Mgmt./Architectural & Construction Eng Mgmt. (Construction, Service) or equivalent combination of training and experience
• Eight years of progressively responsible experience for a commercial/industrial electrical contractor
• Ability to understand electrical codes and standards
• Ability to understand construction means and methods
• Ability to understand and interpret blueprints
• Proficient in various computerized estimating systems and all Office Applications (Accubid preferred)
• Ability to plan, coordinate, and organize multiple projects
• Ability to meet tight deadlines
• Ability to exercise attention to detail
• Possesses strong organizational capabilities
• Strong accounting skills and financial aptitude
• Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and through written format
