Lead Network Engineer

UKG is seeking a skilled and self-motivated Network Engineer to focus on the implementation, optimization, and support of our Enterprise hybrid network infrastructure.

Requirements

• 5-7 years of experience with Juniper Networks - routing and switching, including protocols like OSPF, BGP and concepts like VRF.
• 5-7 years of experience with Cloud Networking - cloud networking services and their integration on GCP and Azure.
• 5-7 years of experience with Palo Alto network firewalls.
• Working experience with Aruba Wireless solutions.
• Understanding of F5 and Google load balancers.
• Working knowledge on network automation, specifically using Terraform and Ansible Automation Platform.
• Knowledge of distributed applications and interoperability.
• Expert in NPM and observability tools (Splunk, ThousandEyes).
• Proficiency in packet analysis and deep-dive troubleshooting using tools like Wireshark to diagnose complex, intermittent performance issues.
• Proven experience in scripting and automation tools (like Redhat Ansible, Terraform etc.) to significantly reduce operational effort and improve network reliability.
• Foundational understanding of how agentic AI and Generative AI tools can be leveraged to further streamline workflows, move beyond simple task automation, and ultimately free up our cycles for high-value strategic thinking and innovation.
