The Director, Product Management will oversee the intersection of three main components of the successful Product Strategy: defining and owning the product direction; building and growing a product team and fostering the product organization processes.
Requirements
- Evaluate and translate corporate strategy into a clear and concise product vision
- Define long-term vision and translate business objectives into product portfolio strategy
- Deep understanding of Product Stewardship domain, customer needs, outcomes, markets, & competitors
- Chemical Regulatory & Compliance Leadership - Expertise in global chemical safety and compliance
- Material Stewardship & Sustainable Design – Skilled in guiding material choices
- Supply Chain Data Integration & Transparency – Experience building systems for supplier data collection and traceability
- Evangelize and communicate the product vision, strategy and goals internally and externally
- Align and integrate product roadmaps across teams based on customer outcomes
- Evaluate market needs against UL’s and competitors’ unique abilities to address them
- Develop and evaluate a go-to-market strategy describing how value will be delivered to the customer/user
- Prioritize high-level strategic initiatives into a product portfolio roadmap
- Define a set of product portfolio goals, outcomes and corresponding metrics
- Define and own portfolio level KPIs (growth, adoption, retention, NPS) and drive customer outcomes
