Job Description
Ultima Genomics is seeking a Field Service Engineer I - Development Program participant to train in a 4-month program at their San Francisco Bay Area headquarters. The program focuses on on-site service, instrument repair, and customer support, with hands-on experience building the next generation of sequencing tools. This is a co-op opportunity with the Engineering, Operations, Research and Commercial groups.
Requirements
- Provide on-site service to one account or small region
- Repair and/or install company instrumentation under development
- Review technical reports and documents
- Maintain customer and research/development contacts
- Summarize and communicate issues to development engineers
- Relocate to any US city at the client site
