Senior Manufacturing Engineer

Rapidly growing life sciences technology company Ultima Genomics is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to join its team. The company is developing groundbreaking genomics technologies and is looking for a highly motivated individual to play an important role in the development and commercialization of its products. The Senior Manufacturing Engineer will work closely with the manufacturing engineering team to support production, troubleshoot equipment, and conduct root cause analysis. The role involves driving collection and documentation of specifications, owning continuous improvement, and facilitating cross-functional communication to support new product development.

Requirements

• BS in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience taking products from a R&D environment to full scale capital equipment production
• Proficiency in CAD software such as Solidworks and OnShape
• Experience working as an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) design owner
• Excellent technical writing skills
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, New Product Introduction (NPI) activities, and product development lifecycle
• Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) experience with Arena or equivalent
• Self starter with a can-do attitude
• Experience with injection molding and manufacturing Printed Circuit Board Assemblies (PCBAs)
• Knowledge of In-Process Control (IPC) standards
