Senior Security (SOC) Analyst, Secret Clearance Required

UltraViolet Cyber, a unified security operations company, is seeking a Senior Security (SOC) Analyst to monitor and analyze security events, investigate suspicious activity, and work within a team utilizing a security-as-code platform. The role requires a US Government issued Secret Clearance, 5 days onsite per week in Herndon, VA, and experience analyzing various device logs and events within a SOC environment.

Requirements

• Active US Secret Security Clearance
• 5+ years of experience working in a Security Operations Center (SOC) or Network Operations Center (NOC) environment performing security event monitoring and analysis
• Working knowledge of the various operating systems (e.g. Windows, OS X, Linux, etc.)
• Working knowledge of network communications and routing protocols (e.g. TCP, UDP, ICMP, BGP, MPLS, etc.)
• Familiarity with adversarial tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs)
