Catholic Priest, Per Diem, Chaplain

We are seeking a Catholic Priest to provide pastoral and spiritual care to patients, their loved ones, and staff on all campuses of the Medical Center.

Requirements

• Assesses patient and family spiritual needs and develops pastoral care plan in response to identified needs.
• Responds to pastoral care emergencies and consults in a timely manner.
• Documents pastoral care assessments, visits and interventions in the patient’s record.
• Provides spiritual care to patients, their loved ones, UMMMC staff and students.
• Collaborates with the interdisciplinary Palliative Care team in the provision of care for patients and their loved ones living with advanced illness and/or addressing end of life concerns.
