ED Observation Assistant, 32 Hours, Nights

The ED Observation Assistant is responsible for assisting with the safety of patients in the Emergency Department, providing constant observation or 15-minute safety checks, and performing various support duties. This role requires de-escalation techniques, physical restraint of disturbed patients, and ability to remain calm in emergency situations.

Requirements

• High School Graduate or equivalent
• Ability to read, write, speak effectively in English
• Good interpersonal skills
• Ability to remain calm when under stress or in emergency situations
• Physical ability to stand, walk, run, reach, bend, lift, and stoop
