Requirements

• Assesses and obtain a patient's basic health status, records, and related data according to standard procedure and needs of patient and their families.
• Administers medications, performs treatment as ordered, and operates equipment according to policy and procedure.
• Documents patient care according to standard procedure.
• Communicates with patients via electronic, telephonic, and in person, per scope of practice.
• Collaborates with other health care providers to ensure quality and continuity of care.
