Job Description
As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at UMass Memorial Health's Wound Center, you will perform selected and delegated nursing tasks, complete patient physical assessments, and participate in education plans. The job requires assessing patients' basic health status, administering medications, and documenting patient care. The position involves working in a patient care environment with heavy demands, standing, and walking most of the time. A signing bonus may be available. The salary range is $28.14 - $46.74, and the job requires a strong understanding of basic nursing procedures and interpersonal skills. The working hours are 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with scheduled hours from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm.
Requirements
- Current Massachusetts licensure required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Knowledge of basic nursing procedures
