Job Description
The Physical Therapist staff has the responsibility to evaluate, establish a plan of care, and treat patients referred to PM&R. Daily assignments may include but are not limited to evaluating and treating patients, completing proper documentation and billing, participating in clinical education, and working in other specialty areas in PM&R department.
Requirements
- Doctorate degree from an accredited physical therapist program
- Must have or be eligible to obtain a Texas State license
- Ability to apply the theory of Physical Therapy under the bylaws of the Texas State Practice Act and the APTA Code of Ethics
- Ability to perform technical procedures
- Ability to instill confidence in patients, physicians, and other staff members
