Elektrotechnieker

We are looking for an Elektrotechnieker to join our team at Umicore. The successful candidate will be responsible for restoring, improving, and maintaining electrical installations, components, and equipment. They will also design electrical installations of limited scope, detect and repair faults in electronic equipment, and perform preventive and corrective maintenance to prevent downtime and production losses.

Requirements

• Graduate in a technical field (electronics, electricity, MSR, automation, electromechanics) or equivalent through experience
• General knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanics
• Basic knowledge of PLC (Tia, S7, PCS7) is a plus
• Ability to work independently and accurately with a sense of initiative
• Willingness to continuously learn and improve
• Ability to work in a team and be contactable
• Systematic, analytical, and result-oriented approach
• Initiative to propose improvements
• Ability to work in a rotating shift and participate in on-call duties
