Project Manager (Open to Internal and External Applicants)

The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) is seeking a Project Manager to support the implementation of the 2025 Mayors Challenge project in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The project aims to improve access to services and generate data that supports more effective public policies through a data-driven public policy methodology. The Project Manager will provide day-to-day coordination and overall management support to ensure effective implementation, institutional alignment, reporting, and sustainability of the project.

Requirements

• Advanced university degree in Public Administration, Public Policy, Social Sciences, International Development, Economics, Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field
• Minimum of two (2) years (with master's degree) or four (4) years (with bachelor's degree) of relevant professional experience in project planning, implementation, and monitoring
• Experience working with the public sector and experience in stakeholder coordination and institutional articulation
• Fluency in Portuguese and English is required
