Project Manager

Role Overview

The Project Manager will be responsible for the management and implementation of the assigned Project(s) of the Energy and Environment Unit, including technical coordination and mobilization of Project(s) resources, supervising Project(s) personnel, consultants and subcontractors.

What You Will Do

The Project Manager will oversee financial monitoring, including expenditures, partner contributions, and budget revisions, ensuring compliance and accuracy. They will also develop and implement the M&E Plan to track progress against targets and indicators.

The ideal candidate will have experience in providing management advisory services, and/or hands-on experience in design, monitoring and evaluation, leading and managing development projects. They will also have experience in the use of computers, office software packages, and web-based management systems.

Requirements

• Advanced university degree (Master's degree or equivalent) in Business Administration, Public Administration, Social, Economic, Environmental Sciences, or other related sciences
• Minimum 2 years (with master’s degree) or 4 years (with bachelor’s degree) of relevant experience at the national or international level in providing management advisory services, and/or hands-on experience in design, monitoring and evaluation, leading and managing development projects
• Experience in the use of computers, office software packages (MS Word, Excel, etc.) and web-based management systems, and advanced knowledge of spreadsheet and database packages
• Fluency in English and Russian and/or Kazakh
