
Job description
The Regional Project Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the project, including leading, managing, coordinating, and developing effective project planning and implementation. The position will also contribute to the Istanbul Regional Hub's regional knowledge management function, connecting the project's thematic and data expertise to IRH-wide analytical quality standards, platforms, and dissemination.
The Regional Project Manager will be responsible for managing, monitoring, and reporting results for the Multi-country Survey on the socio-economic vulnerabilities of Roma in Western Balkans and Turkiye. They will also oversee the administrative and financial aspects of the project, support synergies with relevant regional projects, and ensure regular communication and coordination with Projects' counterparts.
The ideal candidate will have experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder, multi-year programmes, with technical experience in implementing programmes in the areas of poverty reduction, local development, and social protection. They will also have experience coordinating with development agencies, institutions, and international financial institutions, as well as experience working on policy issues and the unique development challenges facing Roma communities.
