Job Description
The Technical Analyst will provide technical advisory services, quality assurance, and support effective implementation of project activities in the field of public finance, focusing on strengthening Mongolia's performance-oriented public financial management systems, and improving fiscal resilience, efficiency, transparency, and development impact.
Requirements
- Advanced university degree in Economics, Finance or Business Administration or other related fields
- Minimum 2 years (with a Master’s degree) or 4 years (with a Bachelor’s degree) of relevant professional experience in public finance, results-based public financial management, climate finance, financial planning, or related analytical work
- Fluency in English and Mongolian languages
- Experience in the use of computers, office software packages (MS Word, Excel, etc.) and web-based management systems
- Strong policy analysis and synthesis skills, including the ability to translate technical analysis into actionable recommendations, and experience in reviewing and quality assuring analytical reports and knowledge products
