Job Description
The International Institute for Educational Planning (IIEP) in Africa is seeking a Policy Analysis Consultant to provide transversal support on several priority projects based on identified needs and work closely with the team members. The consultant will contribute to sectoral diagnoses, HR management, development of educational finance simulation models, education sector plan implementation, and cross-cutting support.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Economics, Statistics, or equivalent fields
- At least four (4) years of experience in the field of education system analysis in developing countries, preferably in Africa
- Experience in developing RES and financial simulation model development, and HR support, preferably in Africa
- Experience in designing social research instruments, both quantitative and qualitative
- Excellent mastery of statistical and econometric techniques applicable to the education sector
- Excellent knowledge of educational systems in developing and emerging countries and the challenges associated with them
