Consultant (e) International(e) Chef/fe d’équipe pour l’évaluation à mi-parcours du 9ème Programme pays (2023-2027) du Fonds des Nations-Unies pour la Population (UNFPA) en République Centrafricaine

The International Chef/Team Leader will lead the mid-term evaluation of the 9th Country Programme of the UNFPA in the Central African Republic. The evaluation will assess the program's theory of change, implementation quality, and provide actionable proposals for the remainder of the cycle period. The position requires a consultant with international experience in conducting evaluations, specifically in international development and humanitarian aid. The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in Public Health, Social Sciences, Demography, or a related field, and excellent knowledge of theory-of-change-based evaluations, qualitative and quantitative data collection methods, and humanitarian strategies.

Requirements

• 10 years of experience in conducting or managing evaluations in the field of international development and/or humanitarian aid and peace consolidation
• A Master's degree in Public Health, Social Sciences, Demography, Population Studies, Statistics, Development Studies, or any other relevant field
• Good knowledge of humanitarian strategies, policies, and frameworks, international humanitarian law, and humanitarian principles
• Excellent skills to lead and coordinate the work of the evaluation team
• Ability to ensure the ethics and integrity of the evaluation process, including confidentiality
• Ability to integrate human rights and gender issues into all phases of the evaluation process
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and oral)
• Experience of working with a multidisciplinary team of experts
