Uni Systems is seeking a professional Data Scientist to join their UniQue Ispra team. The role involves developing new business, building client relationships, and monitoring project progress. The ideal candidate will have experience with data pipelines, data quality checks, and statistical modeling.
Requirements
- Master + 4 years of professional experience
- Experience with Kohesio (beneficiary data) and the Cohesion Open Data Platform (programmatic data)
- Good knowledge of EUROSTAT regional and country-level datasets
- Good knowledge of the BvD’s Orbis database and the EU Industrial R&D Investment Scoreboard
- Experience in managing and analyzing Horizon beneficiary data
- Experience with other EU funding instruments (i.e. RRF data)
- Excellent knowledge of R and/or Stata for data manipulation and analysis
- Knowledge of Python for data processing and automation
- Ability to perform efficient statistical modeling and quantitative analysis
- Strong ability to harmonize and integrate diverse, heterogeneous data sources
- Ability to produce clear, well-structured technical documentation and metadata catalogs
- Commitment to applying high-quality standards to data integrity and methodological rigor
- Strong analytical skills with a proactive approach to troubleshooting complex data issues
- Ability to understand, speak and write Spanish (B1) will be an advantage
