Collection Systems Apprentice- Public Works

The Kansas City, Kansas Environmental Services Division is seeking a motivated Collection System Apprentice to join the team, supporting the maintenance and operation of the wastewater collection system to ensure reliable and environmentally responsible service to the community.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Routine maintenance and six months or more of relevant experience preferred
• Valid driver's license
• Class B CDL permit within 90 days and a Class B CDL within six months of hiring
• Class I KWEA collections certification and/or KDHE certification within 3 years of hire date
