Program Coordinator (Emergency Preparedness)-Health Department

The Program Coordinator (Emergency Preparedness) position at the Health Department requires collaboration with divisions to complete staff training, create and maintain annual preparedness plans, and conduct workshops. The role involves coordinating improvement items, assigning training, and presenting new opportunities to staff. It also includes creating and conducting emergency preparedness and response exercises and trainings, and ensuring health equity consideration in planning and operations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in public health, Education or a related field
• Two years of related program experience
• Software knowledge of Microsoft Suite products and Adobe products
• General office equipment knowledge
• Strong interpersonal and public speaking skills
• Knowledge of emergency preparedness and response principles, methods, and strategies
