Job Description
The Recreation Instructor will create a fun, engaging, and educational experience for summer campers, organizing activities and leading educational sessions, physical education, and crafts. They will also oversee field trips, maintain attendance records, and handle administrative duties.
Requirements
- Passion for working with children and creating memorable experiences
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to adapt to changing situations and handle group dynamics
- Must be able to obtain First aid and CPR certification
- Experience in teaching, camp counseling, or related fields (preferred)
- Must be a minimum of 18 years of age
- Required to pass a background check
- Required to complete 16 hours of health and safety paid training before summer camp begins
- Must be available to work until August
