Inside Project Manager

The Inside Project Manager supports the planning, coordination, and execution of fabrication projects involving sheet metal, heavy plate, and structural steel. This role works closely with senior project managers, estimators, engineering, and shop supervisors to ensure projects move smoothly from kickoff through delivery.

Requirements

• Experience or education in manufacturing, industrial technology, engineering, or project management
• Basic understanding of fabrication processes such as cutting, forming, welding, machining, and finishing
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and fabrication details (or willingness to learn quickly)
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Comfortable working in both office and shop‐floor environments
• Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems, scheduling tools, or project management software
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain accuracy under pressure
• 2D/3D design experience utilizing Autocad/Solidworks or equivalent would be preferred
