The Datamart Developer will be responsible for developing and supporting change requests and projects, managing SIT and UAT phases, and providing post-delivery support. The role requires expertise in Murex Datamart module, treasury products, and Linux, Oracle, and Python programming.
Requirements
- Strong expertise in Murex Datamart module, including configuration, optimization, and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of treasury products, covering product characteristics, trade life cycle, market operations, risk management, and P&L calculation methodologies.
- Working knowledge of key Murex functions, such as accounting, risk, VaR, and market data management.
- Basic understanding of front-office and back-office banking operations, including risk, finance, and accounting processes.
- Hands-on experience with Murex configurations, including pre-trade rules, calculation templates, pricing templates, UDFs, and lookup table development.
- Proficient in Linux (Red Hat) with capabilities in process monitoring, shell scripting, and log analysis.
- Proficient in Oracle 19c, SQL, and PL/SQL for data querying and optimization.
- Experienced in EndâofâDay (EOD) process analysis and design, including the use of scheduling tools such as ControlâM.
- Basic knowledge of Python programming and exposure to the Cloudera platform.
- Proven experience with agile software development methodologies.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to independently perform complex business analysis, requirement gathering, and system impact assessments.
- Excellent documentation capabilities, including writing functional specifications and designing test cases.
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high-quality deliverables.
- Experience in stakeholder engagement with the ability to communicate effectively across technical and business teams.
