Job Description
We are seeking an AWS Infrastructure Engineer to design, deploy, and support AWS-based infrastructure components, and to implement AWS security best practices across IAM, VPC design, security groups, encryption, key management, and auditing. The successful candidate will have 3+ years of infrastructure/operations experience, with 2+ years supporting AWS environments, and a strong understanding of AWS core services, infrastructure as code, and automation using CloudFormation and/or Terraform and AWS CLI.
Requirements
- Architect, deploy, and support AWS-based infrastructure components
- Administer and troubleshoot Linux and Windows servers hosted on AWS
- Develop and maintain automation and infrastructure-as-code using AWS CloudFormation, Terraform, and AWS CLI
- Implement AWS security best practices
- Monitor platform health and performance using CloudWatch/CloudTrail
- Design and operate backup and disaster recovery solutions
- Support CI/CD integrations with AWS services
- Respond to incidents and service disruptions
- Collaborate with DevOps, application, and security teams
- Create and maintain operational documentation, runbooks, and standard procedures
