Senior Data Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Engineer with specialized skills in Generative AI and AI/LM technologies to develop applications and drive innovation in automated / algorithmic platform and data management features.

Requirements

• Performing a wide range of research, analysis, development and interpretative functions to help the company and clients understand and derive meaning from large and complex data sets.
• Drives innovation in automated / algorithmic platform and data management features.
• Researches, designs, simulates, and prototypes new algorithms based on business need.
• Analyzes, tests and evaluates algorithm and other data management platform effectiveness.
• Manages data analysis, insight generation and understanding by applying various methodologies including probability modeling, statistics and machine learning (ML).
• Works to ensure Unisys data science applications incorporate state-of-the-art concepts, practices and methodologies.
• Independently creates examples, prototypes, and / or demonstrations to help leadership understand how data / value may be extracted by leveraging various technologies.
• Works with key client stakeholders to understand business requirements and design solution proposals.
• Uses machine learning algorithms and other tools to develop and execute data models.
• Consults with key internal and external stakeholders to determine how to best leverage modeling and advanced analytic methods to support business / product decision-making.
• Clearly communicates findings, recommendations and potential solutions to a variety of audiences.
