Job Description
The SOC Detection and Response - Cybersecurity Engineer role involves developing and implementing custom detections, conducting level 3 security research, and managing MSSP operations. The role requires strong technical expertise in SIEM systems, EDR, and IDS, as well as analytical and problem-solving skills. The successful candidate will have a bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
Requirements
- In-depth knowledge of Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) systems
- Strong knowledge of Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) and Intrusion Detection/Prevention Systems (IDS/IPS)
- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell, Bash)
- Strong knowledge of network security, protocols, and traffic analysis
- Familiarity with threat intelligence platforms and frameworks (e.g., MITRE ATT&CK)
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- English proficiency B2 or higher
