Job Description
Unit is a market leader in embedded finance offering financial services and serving millions of end-users across 100 customers. We're looking for a Junior Engineer to join our Internal Tools team on a part-time basis.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing or have already completed a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 1-2 years of hands-on experience building internal tools, automations, or operational systems is a strong advantage.
- Strong analytical skills and a problem-solving mindset.
- Solid coding ability and comfort building scripts, queries, or lightweight applications.
- Familiarity with relational databases and writing SQL queries.
- Understanding of core software development practices, including testing, debugging, and version control.
- Ability to translate complex requirements into intuitive, easy-to-use tools.
- Excellent written and spoken English.
