1st Shift MiG Welder

This position welds fabricated components per custom or stock specifications for sale to customers, monitoring welding performance and efficiency. Monitor welding performance and efficiency, and maintain a high degree of quality, with minimal supervision.

Requirements

• At least two years exposure to metal fabrication concepts and processes
• Pass a UAI AWS D1.1 welding test
• Ability to operate overhead cranes, tape measure and calipers, basic hand tools and air tools
• Ability to determine material types and gauges
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints
• Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move 100 pounds with an assist
