Job Description
The Dining Services Assistant is responsible for performing various tasks in the preparation, service, and clean-up of meals served to residents and staff in the community and other special events.
Requirements
- Assists Cook as needed
- Carries pans, kettles, and trays of food to and from work stations, stove, and refrigerator
- Executes the sanitation process by washing tables and chairs, sweeping and mopping the dining room floor, taking trash to the dumpster, washing dishes and silverware, and maintaining clean work areas
- Assists with meal service duties through setting dining room tables, working on the meal tray serving line, serving meal trays, and clearing tables of dishes and trash
