Bilingual Housing Counselor

The United Community Center is seeking a Bilingual Housing Counselor to help Milwaukee area residents with home buying, home improvement, and mortgage counseling to increase home ownership.

Requirements

• Assist area residents in home buying efforts
• Investigate area residents' concerns and complaints
• Establish a strong working relationship with banks and mortgage institutions
• Plan, organize, and facilitate seminars on finance, mortgage, and home improvement
• Cooperate with local law enforcement
• Keep track of information needed for funding sources and ensure accurate reports
• Serve on community development program committees
