Job Description
The Area Dispatcher will organize the daily dispatch of drivers for a metro area in a safe and timely manner, working closely with Operations Managers and Inside Sales Reps to ensure deliveries are properly scheduled and executed to guarantee superior customer service.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
- Technical knowledge of DOT/Federal Motor Carrier rules and regulations
- Diligent attention to safety
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Strong leadership, organization and communication skills
