Job Description
USCS is seeking a 2nd Shift Warehouse Inventory Control Specialist to join their team. The ideal candidate will have or be able to complete a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent, and have forklift and inventory experience. Problem-solving skills and Microsoft Word and Excel experience are strongly preferred.
Requirements
- Solve inventory discrepancies during normal warehousing operations
- Perform cycle count, work orders, and other inventory checks
- Responsible for the entry or update of inventory records in the system
- Acts as a liaison for warehouse-related needs regarding internal or external audits or customer and agency visits
- Responsible for performing customer hold procedures
- Monitor inventory accuracy and take corrective action
- Prepare inventory reports for customers and/or facility needs
- Operate equipment at elevated heights
- Recover pallets that are improperly seated on the rack
- Assist in escalated or critical need situations
- Prepare and participate in physical inventories
- Communicate inventory discrepancies to Customer Accounts and other departments
- Perform Warehouse Associate duties as needed
