Project Procurement Manager (Onshore Project)

Manage the end-to-end procurement lifecycle for major onshore oil and gas projects, developing procurement strategies, sourcing suppliers, negotiating contracts, and ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of equipment, materials, and services.

Requirements

• Develop and implement comprehensive procurement plans aligned with project schedules and budgets
• Manage the full procurement lifecycle including tendering, bid evaluation, negotiations, contract awards, and post-award administration
• Ensure procurement activities are compliant with company policies, contractual obligations, and client-specific requirements
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, subcontractors, and manufacturers globally
• Coordinate closely with engineering, construction, planning, and logistics teams to ensure procurement supports overall project execution
• Lead and mentor a team of procurement professionals, ensuring workload distribution and performance management
• Monitor market trends and pricing to optimize procurement decisions and mitigate risk
• Ensure timely delivery of critical equipment and materials in accordance with the path of construction
• Support vendor prequalification, expediting, and inspection processes
• Manage claims, variations, and dispute resolution with suppliers and vendors
• Provide regular reports to senior management on procurement progress, risks, and KPIs
• Maintain robust documentation and records to support audit and project close-out requirements
