Under the direct supervision and delegation of the RN, the LPN is responsible for the delivery of patient care through the nursing process of gathering patient data for assessment, identification of nursing problems, implementation and evaluation.
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited school of practical nursing
- Current Arkansas licensure as a licensed practical nurse
- Individualized orientation period of no less than 2 weeks and generally no greater than 3 months
- Demonstrated competency and knowledge of licensed practical nursing skills
- Ability to utilize the nursing process in the provision of nursing care
- Safety-sensitive job position
