Job Description
The Licensed Practical Nurse LPN will provide patient care through the nursing process, collaborating with other disciplines to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery. The LPN will also support the organization's mission, vision and values, and contribute to performance improvement techniques that demonstrate positive outcomes in patient care.
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited school of practical nursing
- Current Arkansas licensure as a licensed practical nurse
- Individualized orientation period of no less than 2 weeks and generally no greater than 3 months
- Demonstrates competency and knowledge of licensed practical nursing skills
- Ability to utilize the nursing process in the provision of nursing care
- Collaborates with other healthcare providers and provides education to patients and/or significant others
