Job Description
Performs direct and indirect care duties under the guidance and direction of the RN and LPN. Responsible for implementing components of the plan of care through the initiation/completion of procedures relating to basic human, mental, spiritual, and social needs; comfort and safety measures; activities of daily living; personal care needs; nutrition and fluid needs; elimination needs; and task delegated by the primary licensed nurse.
Requirements
- Enrolled in an accredited college of nursing in an LPN program and at a minimum in the first semester of the nursing coursework
- Must have current BLS certification
- Must have recommendation of nursing faculty
- Previous experience as a nursing assistant desirable, but not required
