Job Description
Coordinates and performs diagnostic radiographic cases for all patients. Must have certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists and maintain this status while employed at Unity Health. Requires good understanding of age-related developmental issues of pediatrics through geriatrics.
Requirements
- Completed curriculum of a recognized school of radiologic technology
- Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
- 1 year radiologic experience
- Knowledge of radiographic examinations and procedures
- Radiation safety knowledge
- Patient transfers and positioning techniques knowledge
- Ability to work with contrast agents
- Ability to work with radiographic equipment
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients and staff
- Ability to maintain confidential information
