Director of Product Management, Platforms

The Director of Product Management, Platforms will lead the team responsible for how Unity runs on mobile, console, desktop, and web. This is a high-visibility leadership role that requires balancing long-term strategic bets with the rigorous technical execution needed to support a global hardware ecosystem.

Requirements

• 8+ years proven experience leading product strategy and shipping complex, highly technical products (e.g., middleware, OS, developer tools, or large-scale integrations).
• Ability to engage with architects and engineers on topics like APIs, rendering pipelines, and hardware abstraction.
• Experience managing high-stakes relationships with external partners and the ability to influence internal stakeholders across a large organization.
• A track record of untangling complex dependencies to ship products.
• A strong interest in emerging technologies, particularly the intersection of Generative AI and content creation, and a drive to define how these technologies should be applied.
• Exceptional Communication: Ability to distill a multi-year technical roadmap into a compelling narrative for partners, executives, and the developer community.
