Industry Manager - Plastics & Elastomers

We are looking for an Industry Manager to establish and drive clear industry strategy and provide leadership and direction to Product Portfolio Managers. The role involves maintaining relationships with suppliers, staying abreast of product trends, and generating industry strategies based on end-market growth, financial analysis, and marketing objectives.

Requirements

• Maintains effective relationships with assigned suppliers and acts as a liaison for vendor and field relations
• Stays abreast of product trends and industry developments and pursues new products and vendors to ensure the most effective product and vendor mix
• Generates industry strategies based on end-market growth, financial analysis, and marketing objectives
• Monitors and analyzes product sales and profitability and ensures compliance with established goals
• Leads a team of product managers and product specialists
• Maintains close communication with marketing, sales, and operations teams
• Conducts in-house supplier updates to enhance industry performance, as required
