Job Description
Univar Solutions is looking for an Operations Supervisor to manage the day-to-day operations of a large facility, including supervision of employees, facility management, and driving operations-related activities. The successful candidate will have a strong track record in operations and a passion for creating a positive work environment.
Requirements
- Facilitating compliance to corporate health, safety, and environmental affairs policies
- Supporting sales efforts consistent with corporate and regulatory compliance, health, safety and environmental standards
- Leading the branch's emergency response team
- Conducting daily pre-shift meetings and communicating expectations to employees
- Direct supervision for Material Handlers
- Participating in inspections from outside agencies
- Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems
- Demonstrated proficiency in using Microsoft Office applications; Excel and Word
