Cardiovascular Technician plays a key role in delivering hands-on patient care, assisting with Cath Lab procedures, and monitoring hemodynamic and physiological data. Under the guidance of a Physician and Registered Nurse, the technician provides direct patient care and prepares the procedure room.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an accredited Cardiovascular Technology program or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Cardiac Catheterization Lab
- Cardiac hemodynamic and physiological monitoring experience
- First-line sterile assistance during diagnostic and/or interventional procedures
- CVT or RCVT certification
- Current BLS (CPR) certification
